Here are
some of the major items I have focused on:
- Voted to Protect and Preserve Our Hillside and
City: served as deciding vote to protect our hillsides. Also
served as deciding vote on passing EMERGENCY-only layer of protection of
water services to our City. I am working with my colleagues to
protect and preserve our downtown and its charm with stricter
regulations and zoning ordinances.
- Emergency Medical Services (EMS): provided
leadership to pass a measure to expand EMS to include paramedic
services.
- Increased Revenue for Sierra Madre: traveled
to Sacramento on behalf of Sierra Madre to lobby our state governments
that resulted in $500,000 owed to our city and $400,000 for street
improvements.
- Increased Transparency in Our City Government:
pushed for first city audit in almost 3 years and supported creation of
a monthly treasurer's report
